We now have revised wording for authorized representatives that clearly defines representatives limited involvement. CRA has stated that anyone who used Represent a Client today or yesterday, before their fix, will be considered to have used the revised, and much more reasonable, wording. So what are we stating we did?
Used the client's data with no audit or review.
Did not become aware of anything false or misleading.
Are in possession of the client's attestation.
The client confirmed that is the appropriate signatory on the attestation.
CRA can ask us for that attestation and we will immediately provide same.
